	<title>Jan 12-14 – Delaware Estuary Science and Environmental Summit</title>

&lt;/p&gt;The &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.delawareestuary.org/scienceandresearch/Science_Conf/Scnc_Conf_Main.asp&quot;&gt;Delaware Estuary Science and Environmental Summit&lt;/a&gt; is scheduled for January 12-14, 2009 at the Grand Hotel in Cape May, New Jersey. This is the third biennial conference convened by the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;/p&gt;Building on the themes of the 2005 science conference ("Linking Science and Management") and the 2007 science conference and environmental summit ("Setting Achievable Environmental Goals"), the theme for the 2009 meeting is “Planning Tomorrow's Delaware Estuary.”.&lt;/p&gt;

	<title>Climate Change in the mid-Atlantic Region</title>
	<description>Dr. Radley Horton, Columbia University, NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies
	
&lt;/p&gt;Dr. Horton is an Associate Research Scientist at the Center for Climate Systems Research at Columbia University. He helps conduct regional climate change scenario assessments for stakeholders around the globe, emphasizing region-specific climate projections and likely impacts of those projections on a variety of systems. He is currently involved in projects in New York City, New York State, the Southeastern U.S., Costa Rica, and Bangladesh.  He conducted his graduate work at NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies and Columbia University in New York, focusing on regional impacts of climate variability and climate change as simulated by Global Climate Models. Additional research interests include polar climate, sea level rise, abrupt climate change, and adaptation to climate change.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;/p&gt;The seminar is free and open to the public.  It will be held at the Luciano Conference Center at Cumberland Community College  Directions to the Conference Center are &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.cccnj.net/CEC/mapDirections.cfm&quot;&gt;available here.&lt;/a&gt; Refreshments are available beginning at 6 pm with an opportunity to meet and speak with Dr. Horton.&lt;/p&gt;

	<title>Woodstown Fall Festival</title>
	<description>The Woodstown Fall Festival (September 27th) was a huge success this past weekend!  Thanks to all who stopped by to learn a little more about Clear into the Future and the ChambersWorks site!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;/p&gt;This Sunday, October 5th, DuPont Clear into the Future will be at Delaware Coast Day in Lewes, DE. The event will be hosted by the University of Delaware's College of Marine and Earth Studies and the Delaware Sea Grant College Program, and will be held on the University's Hugh R. Sharp Campus.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;/p&gt;The event will include a boat show, a crab cake cook-off, an appearance from our own Professor G, and so much more!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;/p&gt;We hope to see you there!&lt;/p&gt;
